What issues matter to me?

The issues that matter most to me are the ones dealing with teenagers. The bad reps that people seem to think about whenever a teenager is mentioned; from stealing to getting pregnant, from acting out to getting into car wrecks, these mentioned acts happen to all ages, not just teenagers. The working class adults have forgotten their youth and the way they were treated. All the focus is on the bad, and none is ever pointed to the good. It seems to me that the world as I knew as a child changed drastically. It seems to me that whenever you hear of a teenager, it’s not something that is a good thing. All the positive aspects of a teenagers life is cast away as though it were something that no one cared about. Focusing on the bad is all that people want to know of and/or hear about. The judgments that we as teenagers go through are not only wrong, discriminating, but disgracing. It makes us, feel as though we’re nothing until we become if we make it there an adult. This is an important topic because I want the world to see teenagers as just another age group doing good, and for people to stop focusing on the bad and realize that all the good teenagers do should be emphasized more than its counterpart.
